I didn’t start training for discipline or longevity. I started because I wanted to look better.
I was skinny and low on confidence. I wanted to look strong. I wanted to feel like I could shoot my shot and not second guess myself. At first, it was about aesthetics. About building an “alpha” presence.
As I trained consistently, my focus moved from how I looked to how I felt. How my knees felt in the morning. How my posture changed when I walked into a room. Strength stopped being about appearance and started being about function.
My career began inside a luxury box gym, where I learned high standards, and professionalism. After working in that setting and leading large group classes, I realized real transformation requires more than energy and atmosphere. It requires attention, structure, and accountability.
That realization led me to build The Gym by Brandon Rasean.
I combined the elevated standards of luxury training with the grit and focus of private coaching. Today, I specialize in functional strength training that builds muscle, protects joints, and improves performance in real life, not just in photos.
I train individuals who want to look strong, move well, and feel powerful long after the workout ends.
I’ve always loved being active, but without the right knowledge used to take an unhealthy approach when setting fitness goals. A challenging time then presented itself and I forgot how to live in a healthy manner. Support from a personal trainer was beneficial in living a healthy lifestyle, and I wanted to provide the same support to others, so I got my NASM Certification.
I find so much joy in supporting individuals in meeting their goals, no matter where they’re beginning. With nine years of education experience, I love to teach, learn, and create individualized plans based on strengths, needs, and desired outcomes. I believe in a holistic approach to coaching, creating a space where we’re learning and growing together, and balancing support and accountability.
